Building on the basic skills taught in Foundations, students will learn the construction techniques to create their own arrangements. Students will be introduced to the secondary principles of design, adding to their sturdy floral foundation. They will be taken through the steps needed to design a window box and present their own design to the class, bringing together the concepts covered in Foundations. Students will also be shown how to price out their labor, designs and custom orders. This class will broaden their marketability by creating fresh floral design portfolios that will set them up for future success.
